The Boston Celtics have agreed to a one-year deal with free agent combo guard Leandro Barbosa, per Y! Sports:

The Celtics freed up a roster spot by releasing Dionte Christmas Tuesday afternoon, opening the door for them to sign Barbosa. Barbosa fits the Celtics roster and a reserve guard who can create his own shot and well as handle the basketball, freeing up Jason Terry to play off the ball and vice versa.
Barbosa played last season with the Raptors before being traded to the Indiana Pacers, averaging 11.1 ppg and 2.0 assists in 64 games. For his career, Barbosa has averaged 12.5 ppg, 2.4 apg and 2.3 rpg nine seasons with the Suns, Raptors and Pacers.
