Video: Derrick Rose breaks into tears during release of latest signature Adidas shoe

Derrick Rose is a passionate and one of the most humble players in the NBA. The Chicago Bulls point guard and former MVP always makes it a priority to thank those who give praise to those who have helped him get to where he’s at and doesn’t appear to have let success get to his head.

Thursday during the launch for Rose’s third signature Adidas brand basketball shoe the ‘D Rose 3‘, Rose broke into tears on the stage after a video of his recovery from knee surgery:

Adidas has been releasing a web series chronicling Rose’s rehab of an ACL injury suffered in last season’s playoffs and clearly watching the video was overwhelming for him.

Given the emotion Rose displays, it’s difficult not to root for him to make a full recovery and return to the NBA better than ever. Best of luck to Rose in his rehab. We over at LTSB are pulling for him.

I already had a ton of respect for this kid, but that just got kicked up around 17 notches. God bless him.

I totally agree! How can one not root for this man? I’m a die hard Laker fan and I want to see him succeed! The only other guys in this league that I want to see win a ring besides the guys on the Lakers squad is J Lin (a true inspiration and underdog and his story is amazing!), K D (because he’s such a great talent and humble guy), and of course D Rose (great talent and humbel guy himself, and not willing to leave his team nor add “superstars” because he believes in his teammates! a true inspiration indeed!)

Now if we could just learn more about his ACT test that almost brought down the University of Memphis program. He may be a great player, but I also feel that he is harboring a dark secret.

His deep secret is no secret: he has a good heart and he was raised right. Stop looking for a reason to bring someone down and enjoy your brother’s love.

I am not a Bulls fan, any more. I am a Rose fan. The young man has genuine heart, humility and drive. He deserves the good that happens in his life and learns from the hard moments. Good man!
