Good as new…
A knee injury prevented Mike Krzyzewski from unleashing Blake Griffin on the world at this summer’s Olympics but it sounds like the All-Star forward will be ready to go when training camp starts next month. Clippers fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
This past weekend Griffin was at his old stomping grounds, the University of Oklahoma. He visited the Sooners football team and gave them a few encouraging words which clearly inspired Bob Stoops’ guys to beat Florida A&M 69-13. Griffin also spent some time with the men’s hoops team where he showed off his repaired knee and formally introduced himself to four-star recruit Buddy Hield.
