New York Jets star cornerback Darrelle Revis will be missing the rest of the 2012 season with a torn ACL, which was confirmed by the Jets Monday morning:

Revis went down in the first quarter of the Jets 23-20 overtime victory over the Miami Dolphins. Third-year cornerback Kyle Wilson will immediately step into the starting lineup as Revis’ replacement.

Revis has been known as one of the top corners in the league, so his absence will be a huge hit to the Jets defensive secondary. Prior to his injury, Revis had accumulated 11 tackles with one interception, three passes defended and a fumble recovery.
