Seattle Seahawks rookie quarterback Russell Wilson was the star of the show that was Seattle’s 44-14 beat down of the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium last night. Wilson got the start and made the most of it, completing 13 of 19 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed the ball twice for 58 yards.

On the other side of the field Chiefs signal caller Matt Cassel wasn’t as impressive. He finished 19/34 for 168 yards with one touchdown and one interception. After Cassel’s scoring pass to Dexter McCluster the quarterback was a little overzealous in his celebration, which led to this.

A pat on the helmet works too. Sometimes simple is better.
