On Monday Philadelphia Eagles fans witnessed a sight they’ve become all too familiar with, Michael Vick getting up slowly with an apparent injury. This time it turned out to be a contusion of his ribs. Vick’s ailments in recent years have included broken ribs and a broken hand. You can check out a few of the others here.
While Vick has been able to win back some of the fans he lost as a result of his involvement in dog fighting there are still more than a few who would prefer to see him not succeed, even if it’s because of injury. If you fall into that category this game may be of interest to you.
Vick has only played in all 16 regular season games once (2006) so you would be forgiven for thinking he would appear in less than that this year. If the Eagles are going to dethrone the New York Giants as division (and Super Bowl) champs Andy Reid and Philadelphia fans (the ones not throwing batteries) will be hoping #7 suits up for as many games as possible.
