In training for the 2012 Summer Olympics Stephan Feck had surely successfully completed the dive he attempted in the preliminary round of the men’s 3m springboard competition countless times. Unfortunately for him, this time when the dive did not go as planned the entire world was watching.
The result was a score of zero from each judge and a 29th place finish in yesterday’s round for the 15th ranked diver, who would later pull out of the competition.
Fortunately for Feck he’s just 22 years old so this shouldn’t be the last we see of him on the world stage. And he made it to the Olympics, which is alot better than many can say.
