Vince Young, former #3 overall pick in the 2006 NFL draft, announced via Twitter that he was no longer a member of the Buffalo Bills:

Young was in competition for the Bills back up quarterback position but his poor play this pre-season prompted the Bills to acquire Tavaris Jackson from the Seahawks. In three pre-season games, Young has completed only 25 of 52 passes (48%) for only 276 yards and two interceptions.

Young began his career with the Tennessee Titans and was named NFL Offensive Rookie Of the Year in 2006 before being released by the Titans in 2011. Young then signed with the Eagles to back up Mike Vick, but his poor play led to his release from Philly as well. For his career, Young has thrown for 8,964 yards, 46 touchdowns and 51 interceptions for a 74.5 QB rating in six seasons.
