Get up young fella…

With the sixth overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft the Portland Trail Blazers selected one of college basketball’s top scorers from a season ago, Damian Lillard from Weber State. The 6’3″ guard averaged 24.5 points per game as a junior and left as the school’s all-time leader in three-pointers made (246) and was twice named MVP of the Big Sky Conference.

Through his first two games in the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League Lillard posted averages of 26 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists on 43% shooting from the floor and 41% from behind the three-point line. Today against the Atlanta Hawks he finished with 31 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists, and this one-handed flush.

Enjoy watching this guy for the foreseeable future Blazers fans.
