Damian Lillard from the Blazers (26.5 pts, 4 rebs, 5.3 asst) and Josh Selby of the Grizzlies (24.2 pts, 56% FG, 64% 3-pt) were named co-MVP’s. The Warriors were the only undefeated team (5-0) while the Celtics, Pistons, Bobcats, Mavericks, Rockets, Bucks, T-Wolves, and Blazers were all 4-1.
While the quality of play was at times sloppy, as you might expect, there were a few highlight worthy plays mixed in. Have a look at the top-10 list the league put together. One of the co-MVP’s makes an appearance as do the Washington Wizards, for better and worse.
Now that some of the NBA’s bright young talent has had the opportunity to showcase their skills the league’s superstars are up next. Team USA gets their quest for Olympic gold underway this Sunday against Tony Parker, Nicolas Batum, and France.
