The NFL recently held its rookie symposium, a four-day introduction for first year players to learn about being role models/professional athletes and help them make the transition from college to the pros. This year it took place in Aurora, OH, a much different venue than California and Florida where it has been in the past.
In addition to hearing stories about the dangers and pitfalls one can experience as an NFL player, like the one told by Adam “Pacman” Jones, and attending workshops this year’s rookie class received a history lesson when the guys made a visit to the Football Hall of Fame.
Indianapolis Colts rookie tight end Coby Fleener gave a great recap of his experience that you can check out here, it’s worth a read.
H/T to ESPN for the vid
