This afternoon the U.S. men’s basketball team had a relatively easy time dispatching of a Great Britain team with Chicago Bulls all-star Luol Deng. Deron Williams and Carmelo Anthony each had 19 points for Team USA and LeBron James chipped in with 16. Russell Westbrook added 15. Kevin Durant scored 13.
Next up for the U.S. will be matchups against Argentina and Spain, who should provide tougher challenges than Great Britain and be good warmups for the Olympics which get underway next Friday.
