Victorino has had a bit of a down season so far, batting .261 with 9 home runs, 40 RBI’s and 24 steals in 101 games with the Phillies. Victorino is an excellent defensive outfield won three consecutive Gold Gloves from 2008-2010 as a centerfielder and will most likely be moved to left field with the Dodgers.
Lindblom is in his second professional season with the Dodgers, posting a 3.02 ERA in 48 relief appearances for LA. Martin has yet to reach the majors but has a record of 8-6 in 20 starts for the Dodgers AA affiliate and has 112 strikeouts in 118 innings.
Victorino was originally drafted by the Dodgers in the 6th round in 1999 before the Phillies plucked him from their farm system in the 2004 Rule 5 Draft. For his career, Victorino has a career .277 batting average with 88 home runs, 394 RBI’s and 186 stolen bases in 9 years with the Phillies. Victorino is also in the final year of his deal that pays him $9.5 million this season.
