We reported earlier Tuesday that forward Kris Humphries agreed to a two-year, $24 million contract to re-sign with the Brooklyn Nets.
Shortly after the news broke, Humphries took to Twitter to take a shot at rapper Kanye West, who is currently dating Humphries’ (separated) wife Kim Kardashian:
Humphries’ jab is in reference to a line Kanye dropped regarding Humphries in his song “Theraflu” (listen here). Kanye is close friends with rapper/mogul Sean Carter aka Jay-Z, who is a minority owner of the Nets.
Maybe taking the high road isn’t trendy anymore… I guess Humphries is trying to earn that “Most Disliked Player” in the NBA label, right?
