Usually most of the stories we see regarding athletes these days are negative, but here is a positive one that needs to be highlighted.
Chad Ochocinco (or Johnson) will be marrying his fiancee Evelyn Lozada this week in Miami. When a fan of his on Twitter asked Ocho to pray for her after the loss of her husband, Chad invited her to his wedding, apparently all expenses paid:
Very kind gesture by Chad, who despite his misguided reputation as a knucklehead in one of the more respectful fan ambassadors in the NFL. Ochocinco (Johnson) recently inked a deal to play for the Dolphins and is looking to redeem himself after a disappointing season with the Patriots.
We wish him the best of luck with the Dolphins and with is marriage, and hopefully more athletes will take note and follow his example of fan interaction.
