Earlier this week Landon Donovan was named MLS Player of the Week for scoring three goals and helping the Los Angeles Galaxy win three games over a seven day span. His final goal of the week was his 120th in MLS competition, making him the third player to achieve that milestone.
Also during the last week the U.S. national team member listed the Manhattan Beach, California compound he once shared with ex-wife and television star Bianca Kajlich. The two homes on adjoining lots appeared on MTV Cribs a few years ago and total 5,715 square feet. Features include 6.5 bathrooms, a pool, spa, home gym, massage room, sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi, home theater, and wine cellar. The asking price is $4,295,000.

Landon Donovan has twice spent time playing in the English Premier League, most recently early this year, with Everton and the team’s captain Phil Neville appears intent on luring him there on a full time basis. Donovan has repeatedly pledged his loyalty to the Galaxy, and MLS needs him as much as any player, but putting his home up for sale won’t do anything to slow the rumor mills from turning.
