Former Kentucky Wildcat and likely #1 overall pick in this week’s NBA Draft, Anthony Davis has reportedly trade marked his unibrow, specifically the phrases “Fear the Brow” and “Raise the Brow”:
“I don’t want anyone to try to grow a unibrow because of me and then try to make money off of it,” Davis told CNBC. “Me and my family decided to trademark it because it’s very unique.”
Davis said that people frequently tell him to cut it, but Davis said he won’t because “everyone’s talking about it.”
Davis has embraced his unibrow amongst quite a bit of playful ridicule and now he’s looking to cash in. Davis was the National Player of the Year after leading the Wildcats to the NCAA championship and declaring for the NBA draft.
Smart move!
