At the University of California, Berkeley Dante Hughes was a consensus All-American and the Pac-10’s Defensive Player of the Year as a defensive back in his final season. He was selected in the third round of the 2007 NFL draft by the Indianapolis Colts, where he would play for two seasons before joining the San Diego Chargers for three more. In 2011 Hughes appeared in all sixteen regular season games, registering 42 tackles.
The five-year veteran recently sat down with CSN Bay Area for an episode of their @TheLunchBoxCSN series to talk about life away from the football field. Among the topics Hughes discusses are his new clothing line and an upcoming film project with actor/comedian Kevin Hart.
