Looks like Amare met his match...
Monday evening Knicks forward Amar’e Stoudemire suffered hand lacerations when he assaulted a glass fire extinguisher case after the Knicks loss to the Heat in Game 2, forcing him to miss game 3 Thursday in New York.
It’s only fitting that Stoudemire’s bone-headed act get the Japanese animation video treatment, similar to other comical events in sports lately. Check it out:
While the video may be a little inaccurate, it’s nonetheless funny. Stoudemire hopes to return in the series but his status is doubtful at this point.
Best advice is to take this as a learning experience and move on. But at least we all can get a laugh from it. Sorry, Knicks fans.
