Kellen Winslow, former Brown and current Buccaneer, is reportedly looking to take his talents elsewhere.
Winslow has 3 years left on his deal with Tampa Bay, but he told a local radio station that he will not return to the team.
Tampa Bay has reportedly worked out former Colt, Dallas Clark as a hedge for Winslow’s volatility.
While it is not yet known exactly why Winslow wants out of Tampa or why Tampa wants rid of Winslow, NFL sources say that Tampa is seeking a trade. Others believe the Bucs may cut him outright.
Sources also report that Tampa notified Winslow not to attend the offseason training that has occurred to date.
While extremely talented, this is yet another strange turn in Winslow’s NFL career.
