Joe Haden made a little noise earlier this week when he announced that he’d be accepting an invitation to Prom at Independence High School (a Cleveland Suburb).
Joyce Grendel, 18, sent a tweet to Cleveland Browns football star Joe Haden and he said yes.
There are a lot of things Haden does that cause Browns fans to wish he’d mature a little, but the good things he does seem to far outweigh the head scratching moves.
In addition to a great gesture like this, Haden openly supports other local teams and makes himself available to fans. His availability and interaction with fans is actually unlike any athlete I’ve ever seen.
Haden also went the extra mile, ordering custom T-shirts with his date’s Twitter handle:
