Chris Andersen, known as the Birdman by most NBA fans, is reportedly having his home investigated and property seized as part of an ongoing police investigation involving internet child pornography. This, according to TMZ.com (the most trusted name in news these days):
“Law enforcement tells TMZ … the Douglas County Sheriff’s Dept. received a tip from a California law enforcement agency back in February … and finally searched Andersen’s home early this morning. We’re told officials seized property from the residence during the search.”
Andersen hasn’t been arrested or charged with a crime as of yet. He and his Denver Nuggets teammates are preparing to play the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 6 of the opening playoff round at the Pepsi Center tonight in Denver.
