Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum was fined $15,000 for skipping a media session after the Lakers practiced Monday. Bynum had a solid showing in an otherwise disappointing showing by the Lakers against the Thunder, contributing 20 points and 14 rebounds in 31 minutes of playing time in the 119-90 Lakers loss.
Second year lakers forward Devin Ebanks was also fined $25,000 for his actions before and after his ejection in game 1. Ebanks was involved in a small skirmish with Thunder player Royal Ivey, resulting in both players receiving technical fouls. Ebanks was then ejected from the game for comments made to the official, and removed his jersey in frustration as he was heading to the Lakers locker room.
The Lakers resume their series against Oklahoma City Wednesday night at 6:30p Pacific, 9:30p eastern on TNT.
