The Cleveland Browns opened up Rookie Mini-Camp today and while most eyes are on Trent Richardson & Brandon Weeden, the big news so far is oddly attributed to an undrafted free agent.

Former Ohio State Buckeyes, Andrew Sweat (LB) & J.B. Shugarts (RT) signed with the Browns after the draft.

Shugarts is on hand at the mini-camp, but Sweat is reportedly a “No Show”.

David Wilkinson of 10 TV tweeted that Sweat is missing from camp & that neither his Buckeye teammate nor the Browns have any idea where he is:

Obviously, the first priority is making sure the young man is safe. But assuming he is, this is about the worst possible way to start your NFL career.

While the Browns roster may be one of the easiest in the NFL to make, it’s still incredibly difficult to earn a spot on a roster as an undrafted rookie FA.

Hopefully they find out where he is and what’s going on very soon.
