In the wake of the Penn State/Jerry Sandusky scandal, we learned of accusations against Syracuse Assistant Coach, Bernie Fine. Since the allegations, some of the accusers have recanted their claims, but it is not yet clear what actually happened.
One accuser recorded a phone conversation with Fine’s wife, Laurie Fine. During this call, Mrs. Fine openly admits being aware of the abuse. Additional information came out as well, that Mrs. Fine may have had a sexual relationship with this accuser after he turned 18.
None of this is news, and all of it is a mess. But Laurie Fine is reportedly holding a Press Conference tomorrow outside of Syracuse.
The venue hosting the event speculates that no facilities in Syracuse would host Mrs. Fine’s event.
It is unclear at this time the purpose of the event, but it is almost certainly going to be a train wreck.
