Jamaal Tinsley has flashed some pretty impressive ball handling skills during the course of his career. You can check out a pretty nice top 10 list of them here. The 34-year old Tinsley, who was the first overall pick in last year’s NBA Development League Draft, currently plays for the Utah Jazz after being signed in December. Earlier this week Tinsley and the Jazz faced Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns. Late in the first quarter the 38-year old Nash showed he’s still got what it takes to get by his defender.
Nash may have lost a step or two and his back problems will probably cause him to miss a game here and there but he can still show the young fellas how it’s done. He’ll be an unrestricted free agent this summer and reportedly wants a three-year deal. Some teams may be hesitant to offer him that many years but he has started 50 of the Suns’ 54 games this season and realistically they wouldn’t be one game back of both the Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets for a playoff spot without him. He’s also leading the league in assists, as usual. Nash still has enough left in the tank to be a more-than-solid contributor to a team and should have several teams inquiring about his services this summer.
