Tim Tebow has been named to Time Magazine’s “Most Influential” list.
Jeremy Lin was also included on the list who said this about Tebow:
“He is unashamed of his convictions and faith, and he lives a life that consistently reflects his values, day in and day out,” Lin wrote
“As athletes, we pour our hearts into winning games. Tim is a reminder that life is about much more than that.”
Great… All we need is to give Skip Bayless more masturbation material….
Other sports figures on the “Time 100″ include tennis star Novak Djokovic, who has won four of the past five grand slam events, South African double-amputee sprinter Oscar Pistorius, and women’s golfer Yani Tseng, who at age 23 has already captured five major championships.
I haven’t seen the comprehensive list, but if Tebow & Lin are the headliners for American athletes, it’s just another indication as to what a sad state our sports are in.
