LTSB has been all over the Metta World Peace elbow to the back James Harden’s dome. So, it’s only appropriate that we provide the latest update.
MWP has said that the elbow was accidental and most remain skeptical. Just a little while ago, MWP tweeted out his concern & well wishes for James “Hardin”, aka Harden.
I have no idea if MWP meant to elbow him. You can’t judge intent. And its clear that most analysts are, at least at this point, skeptical. But it sure appeared that he felt Harden on him & then wound up his elbow and raised it especially high. I doubt he meant to do real harm to him, but it’s tough to see a scenario where this was purely accidental.
What do you guys think?
Get him out of the game! That is for good in my book. No control and he would be a danger with that kind of action in basketball. He has good vision for a pass and knows the floor and where his players are. I just do not want to say more but alot could be said.
If you notice, world peace didnt throw his right arm as hard or as high as he did his left arm hitting Harden.Looked intentional to me.

There should be some consequence but it was an elbow in a basketball game. No big deal. Give me $15 million dollars you can elbow me in the head once. How can anyone think this is such a big deal after watching a hockey playoff game? Grow up kids.
I get what people are saying. Give me $15k & you can elbow me in the grill. But I don’t think people are grasping the enormity of liability issues for the NBA/NFL & the extreme measures they will take to make sure they’re demonstrating their efforts to provide a safe working environment.
1. He’s got a history.
2. It was clearly intentional
3. The NBA has already demonstrated their piggy backing off the NFL for concussion/safety protocols.
I’m telling you, he’s going to get hammered. I’ve said before & I believe he’ll miss the 1st round.
