Two and through

Per multiple sources, two-time All-American forward Jared Sullinger from Ohio State will be entering the 2012 NBA Draft. Sullinger will be leaving the Buckeyes after just two seasons.

Sullinger averaged 17.5 ppg and 9.2 rpg while leading the Buckeyes to a 31-8 record before falling to Kansas in the Final Four. Sullinger was a finalist for the Naismith awards after both his freshman and sophomore seasons. Sullinger averaged 17.2 ppg and 10.2 rpg as a freshman for the Buckeyes in 2010-2011.

Sullinger is projected as a lottery pick in this year’s draft and his skill set is comparable to former Duke player and current Bulls forward Carlos Boozer. Despite being slightly undersized for a NBA power forward, Sullinger has an ability to seal his man in the post and score over both his left and right shoulders. Sullinger has also added an 15-20 foot jumper to his game this season.
