Delmon Young of the Detroit Tigers has reportedly been arrested in New York City and charged with assault following an altercation.
Young was described as “highly intoxicated” and allegedly shoved a man to the ground in front of a mid-town hotel around 2:40 AM.
Sources indicate that he was so drunk that he had to be taken to a hospital to sober up prior to being taken to the police station.
Maybe the Madden Curse extends beyond just the player and team in the NFL and encompasses other franchises in that town?

According to the USA Today, this incident also involved Young spewing anti-semitic remarks and he’s now in danger of being charged with a hate crime.
