Free agent quarterback Peyton Manning will be taking his services to the Denver Broncos, according to NFL insider Chris Mortensen:

Sources informed LTSB that Broncos owner Pat Bowlen’s private jet was in Indianapolis late March 13th in a secret meeting with Manning’s camp, followed by John Elway and the Broncos financial team meeting for a late dinner Thursday March 15th before their staff of Elway, head coach Jon Fox, offensive coordinator and a medical staff flew to North Carolina Friday to watch Manning work out and possibly discuss contract parameters.

Manning and the Colts officially parted ways at a press conference March 7th. Manning, 35, will be replacing fan favorite Tim Tebow, who despite subpar passing statistics led the Broncos to the playoffs and a wild card victory before falling to the Patriots. Tebow will reportedly be available for trade.

You can see key reasons why Manning signing with the Broncos makes sense here. More details on Manning’s contract with the Broncos as they become available.
