Many basketball fans old enough to remember November 7, 1991 can recall where they were and what they were doing when they found out Earvin “Magic” Johnson had the HIV virus. Johnson stood in front of a microphone at a press conference at the Forum in Los Angeles and made the announcement to the world. It became one of the more notable news stories not only that year, but in recent years. ESPN ranked it #7 in it’s 100 most memorable moments of the past 25 years. A little over 20 years later the network will air a documentary directed by Nelson George, and narrated by Johnson, that will tell the story behind the moment. Wife Cookie, son Andre, David Stern, Larry Bird, Chris Rock, among others make appearances.
Here’s the trailer for the special that will premier at 9:00 pm EST March 11th.

Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any tips for beginner blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.
