"LINside of me"? The thirst is real
Being a single, 23 year old male in Manhattan would go in the category of “does
not suck” as far as I’m concerned. Now, imagine being Jeremy Lin, living as a single man in Manhattan. Literally two weeks ago, Lin was lost in anonymity, was at risk of being cut for the 3rd time by a team that was floundering, and while I’m sure he’s a nice guy, I doubt the ladies of New York were pounding down his door.
Fast forward a couple weeks, add in a media firestorm, an incredible 8 game stretch, and Jeremy Lin is not only the darling of the sporting world, but he’s suddenly New York, and America’s most eligible bachelor. Move over Tim Tebow….
As the photo on this post might indicate, Jeremy Lin has suddenly found himself immersed in “attention” from the fairer sex. As with what seems to be any successful NBA player, Lin has already been linked (incorrectly) to Kim Kardashian. Rumors came out last week that Lin would be accompanying teammate Carmelo Anthony and wife LaLa Vasquez on a double date with Kimmy K (via the infamous MTO, by the way). I’m guessing from the conversation Lin had recently that Kim isn’t quite his type….
Lin recently sat down with Steve Serby of the New York Post who asked him some personal questions. When asked what time of girl he would be looking for, he responded with the following, “First she would really love God and be a faithful Christian, and then after that, I think, a desire to serve other people, to help with the underpriveleged, do a lot of social work…” He added “someone that’s definitely chill, low key, low maintenance.”
I don’t know about you, but that did NOTHING to deny the Kardashian rumors. If that’s not a description of Kimmy then I guess I don’t know a thing about her. I mean he might as well have just come out and said her name, am I right!?
Serby also asked Lin how many marriage proposals he’s received in the past week. Lin answered “I don’t know. It just depends… you mean including Twitter (@JLin7) and signs and stuff? I don’t know”, he said laughing.
While Lin confirmed that he does not currently have a girlfriend, it’s pretty clear that he and Kim Kardashian are nothing if not soul mates.
