In typical J.R. Smith fashion his stint playing in China for the Zhejiang Cyclones has been hit and miss. Literally. Smith has notched some impressive games overseas (like the 52 point, 22 rebound and 7 steals effort late last year) but not without a couple headaches along the way. Check out this video of Smith breaking a few ankles with some excellent crossovers (including sending one player out of the game with an injured ankle), including ex-NBA star Stephon Marbury. Too bad J.R. couldn’t convert on the highlight worthy moves:
On the blacktop we used to call those “Million-dollar moves with a 2 cent finish”. Smith’s team would go on to lose to Marbury’s squad 102-93, with Marbury pouring in 45 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. J.R. Smith got the highlights, but Marbury takes home the ‘W’. Sounds about right.
H/T to Heart of Beijing for the vid
