Wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham out of Springfield, Missouri is the #1 high school recruit of the 2012 class according to just about everyone. Rivals.com has him as the top player at his position, in the state, and overall. The 6’6″ 220 lbs senior hauled in 119 passes for 2,233 yards and 24 TD’s this past season and was named the 2012 U.S. Army Player of the Year.

It’s understandable that just about every college coach would love to have Green-Beckham on their roster this fall and with national signing day quickly approaching final pushes are being made to secure his services. Mizzou head football coach Gary Pinkel is among those lined up and recently paid a visit to Green-Beckham’s high school.

Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas are also reportedly in the mix for Green-Beckham’s signature so we’ll see who wins this year’s big prize on, or before, February 1st.
