Lob City, indeed

The Los Angeles Clippers front office has been working overtime so far in free agency. They quickly signed vet small forward Caron Butler, locked up young center DeAndre Jordan long term and picked up Chauncey Billups after the Knicks cut him loose via amnesty. But the most noteworthy move may have been trading for point guard Chris Paul, a move that DJ and Griffin’s reactions when hearing news of the trade validates:

Glad to see players actually excited to play for the Clippers. This is a far cray from the days when Clippers players called the organization a “prison” and couldn’t wait to jump ship. As a fan and as a basketball enthusiast, I applaud the moves the Clippers are making to improve.

And if you’re a fan of basketball, the 2011-2012 Clippers are must-see TV.
