DeMarcus Cousins‘ rookie year gave fans glimpses of promise as well as a few head scratching moments. His 14 points and 8.6 rebounds per game showed that he can be a presence in the low post and form a nice inside-outside combination with Tyreke Evans. Then there were moments like after a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder where Donte Green passed the ball to Tyreke Evans (who missed a potential game winning three-pointer) instead of to Cousins which led to Cousins and Green reportedly exchanging words in the locker room after the game.
