In one of the most exciting games of the NCAA football season to date, #16 ranked Michigan State had #6 Wisconsin on the ropes most of the game before behind tied 31-31 with the ball at four seconds on the clock. Out of field goal range the Spartans opted for a Kirk Cousins Hail Mary pass instead of taking a knee and heading into overtime that miraculously landed in the hands of senior receiver Keith Nichol for a 44-yard touchdown (his only reception of the game).
