Some professional athletes haven’t quite mastered the art of using Twitter appropriately, Arian Foster tweeting out his MRI for example. Looks like two-time MVP LeBron James is taking his recruiting talents to Twitter in an attempt to land a point guard to help the Miami Heat win a championship, specifically free agents Steve Nash and Jamal Crawford:

Honestly, I don’t see the harm in this act by LeBron. Both players would be upgrades over Mike Bibby last season (so would a stationary broom, but that’s besides the point) and since Crawford is on the open market and Nash nearing the end of his deal once the lockout ends LBJ is making an early push for their services. Also, by publicly posting the tweets James will and has already created a media buzz and fan interest in the NBA which has definitely lost a bit of popularity during the NBA lockout.

Personally I think Nash would be an ideal fit for the Heat. He’s a pass first PG who is automatic and can knock down an open jumper from anywhere on the floor. We’ll just have to wait see what happens once the lockout is settled…

Mike Bibby is gon’ cry in the car. Or the waiver wire. Whichever comes first.
