LeBron James Is Openly Recruiting Point Guard Options Via Twitter

10/27/2011 at 11:56 am By

Some professional athletes haven’t quite mastered the art of using Twitter appropriately, Arian Foster tweeting out his MRI for example. Looks like two-time MVP LeBron James is taking his recruiting talents to Twitter in an attempt to land a point guard to help the Miami Heat win a championship, specifically free agents Steve Nash and Jamal Crawford:

Honestly, I don’t see the harm in this act by LeBron. Both players would be upgrades over Mike Bibby last season (so would a stationary broom, but that’s besides the point) and since Crawford is on the open market and Nash nearing the end of his deal once the lockout ends LBJ is making an early push for their services. Also, by publicly posting the tweets James will and has already created a media buzz and fan interest in the NBA which has definitely lost a bit of popularity during the NBA lockout.

Personally I think Nash would be an ideal fit for the Heat. He’s a pass first PG who is automatic and can knock down an open jumper from anywhere on the floor. We’ll just have to wait see what happens once the lockout is settled…

Mike Bibby is gon’ cry in the car. Or the waiver wire. Whichever comes first.

Really LeBron??? Why not ask for Dwight Fucking Howard next so you can make a pre-All Star Game All Star team.

    Dear LeBron,
I think it is nice that you are thinking about your team’s quest in earning a championship. While, it is nice of you to give some fellow players a lift in their playing skills, I really hope that you worked hard on yours. Your game had flaws, that hurt your team win.

This summer I hope you worked on your free throws. No, not say you did, and then miss 50% of them during the season. Working means perfecting your form and then shooting 1000 shots per day. You also need to work on your footwork. It is sloppy. If you had better footwork, you could could actually be a defensive player-for real this time. You were not born to be a 3pt shooter player, with your build, you are a in the center, middle of the action kind of guy. You definitely were not hired to shoot threes. Management hires guys to only shoot threes, so that area is covered. You won’t have to worry about recruiting anyone for that position.
I hope you find these suggestions helpful. I’m tired of you coming in year after year, with no real improvement. Put in the work.

I thought you are proclaiming yourself as a King , and now you need all the help that you can to get a ring. Be ashamed of yourself, my little queen.
