Game show contestant

A few weeks ago New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul held a charity basketball game at Winston-Salem State University, where both of his parents attended. Next week Paul, his parents, and a few other relatives will appear on an episode of Family Feud. Nola.com has the details.

According to a news release, the Paul team applied and auditioned for the show, hosted by Steve Harvey, just as any family can.

Family members participating in the game show will be Chris, brother C.J., dad Charles,  mom Robin and aunt Rhonda.

The opposing team will be the O’Haras from Revere, Mass. They’ll play for $100,000 and a car.

The episode is scheduled to air at 3 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 1) on WGNO.

Winnings by Paul and his family will go to his Cp3 foundation.

The foundation’s initiatives include partnerships with Feed The Children, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Boys & Girls Club and Habitat for Humanity. The foundation also sponsors and supports literacy initiatives, youth basketball clinics and court refurbishments, holiday giving and emergency preparedness initiatives.

Good luck to both Team Paul and the O’Haras.

So far during the lockout we’ve seen Chris Bosh and Carmelo Anthony on Law & Order and Ron Artest Metta World Peace on BET’s sitcom Reed Between The Lines. Oh and don’t forget to check out NBA Legend, it actually says that in the description, Joe Smith on a new series called Video Hot Mix.
