The 5th most valuable sports franchise in the world, according to Forbes, spent this weekend in Los Angeles. Spanish soccer team Real Madrid was in town as part of the World Football Challenge that would see them take on Landon Donovan, David Beckham and the L.A. Galaxy in front of over 56,000 at the LA Coliseum. Real Madrid won 4-1 with the biggest highlight coming from 2008 FIFA World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo.

Unfortunately, Real Madrid’s trip wasn’t all good. Leading up to last night’s match the team held training sessions on the campus of UCLA last week. On the way to one of the sessions a golf cart transporting players hit a fan who was a bit too eager to see the team’s stars up close. Okay it was more like the cart was hit by the fan, but at any rate here’s the footage.
