It looks like hecklers at the Tour De France can get a little carried away… During a leg of the race today a heckler dressed as a doctor and carrying a blood bag decided to harass Alberto Contador (due to him testing positive for steroids last year). Apparently the gesture got the heckler more than he bargained for:
Who knew cycling was a contact sport? I sure didn’t.

it’s an embarassment that Contador has even been allowed to race the tour this year. The French public agree, too; he’s one of the very, very few cyclists ever to be booed by fans. I for one say good for the heckler! If the UCI and Spanish cycling federation won’t stand for clean racing then I suppose it’s up to the fans.
Contador was tested positive for clenbuterol, a decongestant in asthma drugs. Also, cycling is more of a contact sport that you know. View these:

What I forgot to say was, clenbuterol is not a form of anabolic steroids.
Watch the video. The guy put a stethoscope on him. It could easily have been a hypodermic. Regardless of whether Contador doped, that’s assault and he was justified defending himself by punching him in the face. I’m sure that off camera the gendarmes delivered one hell of a clothesline and shove into the mountain face to our soi disant fan.
