Game 6 of this year’s NBA Finals will never be forgotten by anyone in the state of Texas or by Dallas Mavericks fans everywhere. Jason Terry led the Mavs with 27 points in the series clincher and if you’ve got some extra cash stashed away you could own the Reebok Zig Slash shoes he was wearing that night.
Head over to biddingforgood.com and you can place your bid on a piece of history. They say, “everything’s bigger in Texas” and with the current bid at $6,200 your bid will need to be as well if you’re going to add these to your collection.
The proceeds will go to the Jason Terry Foundation. The mission statement, per the organization’s site is:
The Jason Terry Foundation is a youth based organization, focused on helping others obtain dreams (H.O.O.D.), through education, self-empowerment, and community involvement.
The auction will end this coming Sunday, June 26th, at 10:35 PM EDT, exactly two weeks after Game 6 ended and the Mavericks claimed their first ever NBA championship.
