Remember those doubters who said Chicago should have taken Michael Beasley over Derrick Rose 1st overall in 2008? Yeah, neither do we. Rose has built a pretty solid resume in his first three NBA seasons including ROY, 2x All-Star and possible MVP this season. He also has a knack for making some incredibly difficult shots look way too easy. Here’s an example:

Not only did Rose find a way to utilize the glass from an impossible angle, he also had the concentration to finish the play with Kevin Garnett shoving him out of bounds (no foul was called though). You’re going to find numerous articles proclaiming why they think Derrick Rose shouldn’t be this season’s MVP but you won’t find that type of “Devil’s Advocate” talk coming from this side.
